We can rarely say that our work helps save lives. It was different in the case of Bloxin. It is a remedy that creates an additional protective barrier against the entry of viruses into the body – including COVID-19 viruses. And we helped launch it as quickly as possible.
We proposed an iterative process aimed at shortening the project duration as much as possible. Working meetings were held in a narrow group, but senior representatives of the client participated in them. We presented design suggestions and then made corrections as needed. Subsequent sessions were held within a short interval of time. At the same time, the legal verification of the proposed names was carried out.
The brand colours refer to the best-known protective barrier that we got to know all too well over the last few months – a protective mask. The name clearly communicates how the product works. This impression is confirmed by the graphic elements referring to the shield symbol. Information architecture and a clear message are also important – Bloxin is a barrier against viruses that cause diseases. We are talking about the cold, flu, and COVID-19.
The process from the brief to the start of packaging production lasted 82% shorter than usual. The product hit the shelves at express pace. The client started a communication with recipients that was not based on negative motivation, but showed the benefits of using additional protection. And we could, in the best way we can, make our contribution to a return to normalcy.
