Launching a vegetarian catering brand that reflects the originality, character, and bold flavors of its creators – owners of the iconic Warsaw restaurant, Ósma Kolonia.

Using a Design Thinking approach, we dove deep into the competitive landscape and consumer needs. What became clear? People weren’t looking for diet plans; they craved joy, indulgence, and quality. Five meals a day? Not essential. Fresh ingredients and eco-friendly packaging? Absolutely.

Every element of the brand was tested and refined with input from potential customers, ensuring a concept that resonated. The result was a strong, compelling identity rooted in the idea of Dziewiąta Planeta as a universe of its own in the catering galaxy.

The visual language revolved around abstract, vegetable-inspired “planets” that evolve with the seasons, mirroring the rotation of fresh, seasonal ingredients in the kitchen. This flexibility allowed the brand to stay dynamic and visually fresh throughout the year.

RESULTS

On launch day, Dziewiąta Planeta attracted as many customers as expected after six months. The brand’s bold identity earned a nomination for the prestigious KTR (Klub Twórców Reklamy) award, solidifying its place as a standout in the market.
